The Quran was revealed in Arabic, and no translation can fully capture its meaning. The English we provide is an explanation of the meaning, not a replacement for the Arabic text. Where scholars understand a verse in more than one way, we try to say so.
Hadith and Scholarly Opinions
We take care to cite hadith and to mention their grading where it matters. Scholars sometimes grade a narration differently, and they sometimes hold different views on the same question. When we describe one view, that does not mean the other views are wrong. Please follow the guidance of a scholar you trust for your own practice.
Benefits of Recitation
Many pages mention the reward or benefit of reciting a surah or a dua. These are based on the Quran and on narrations of different levels of strength, and we say when a narration is weak. We cannot promise any particular worldly result from a recitation, and reward is in the hands of Allah alone.
