Author and Scholar Bios

Who writes QuranGuides.com, and who checks it.

Last updated: October 2026

Every page on QuranGuides.com is written by one of our writers and checked by a qualified scholar before it goes live. This page tells you who they are and what qualifies them to do this work.

Why We Show This Page

Islamic content is only useful when you can trust the people behind it. Anyone can publish an explanation of a verse or a hadith online. We think you should be able to see who wrote what you are reading, and who checked it.

You can read how the process works on our Editorial Policy and Scholar Review Policy pages.

Our Writers

Our writers research each topic from the Quran, authentic hadith, and established tafsir. They write in plain language and send every draft to a scholar for review before it can be published.

Our Reviewing Scholars

Our reviewing scholars hold recognized qualifications in Islamic studies. This includes formal training in Quranic sciences, hadith studies, and Arabic. Each scholar checks the pages that fall within their own area of training.

What Reviewers Check

Before a page is approved, the scholar checks four things. First, whether the Arabic to English translation is accurate. Second, whether every hadith is graded correctly as sahih, hasan, or daif. Third, whether Quran verses and hadith sources are cited properly. Fourth, whether the explanation matches established scholarly interpretation and avoids sectarian bias or unverified claims.

How We Choose Writers and Scholars

We choose people for their knowledge and integrity, not for affiliation with any group. A writer or scholar whose work repeatedly contains errors is removed from the team.
